Great candidate to join my team TeamTAF, in the Sussex 100 Bike Ride to raise funds for The Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice?

Hope it's not 100 mile bike ride. I'll always do things for charity so have you got a link for this charity ride?

I'll have a proper look when home. 35 seems okay but the elevation seems rather steep at the beginning as would like it midday. I'll send a pm later during the week.

Perfect, cheers!

I went on the Colchester site earlier, it said they had sold over 250 tickets.

I reckon the crowd will be about 4,500.

The thread title was a little misleading! I thought 'bloody hell' 6k is a good effort given no trains or free parking. I'd be very surprised if the attendance reached that figure. Sadly, me (plus 2) have decided to give this one a miss. I can't be bothered with the train chaos and am not prepared to pay £12 to park when I've parked for parking for Friday.

Left the ground at 9.45, back in Burgess Hill at 10.15. SASTA can do one, park and walk is the way forward ! Decent second half, had the feel of a game where CH delivered a rocket at half time as we came out with far more energy and purpose and LULU, Elvis and Murphy ran at them, successfully.

Did that 7k include the 2.5k 1901 members who had free tickets I wonder? Expect it did... Great effort though

It isn't though. I love a few beers at football. Where did you park?

Just under 5000 attendees apparently so that answers my question - they included 1901 tickets in the 6000 sold.

I think there were a couple of hundred 1901ers there. Put that on top of my earlier guess of 4,500 and just under 5,000 is probably about right.

It definitely IS right! :lolol: I got this from someone who sees the actual figure.
