Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the Single Market - Daniel Hannan MEP

Sadly, all our efforts will have been wasted if we don't succeed in getting rid of people spouting crap like this. Hopefully, they'll all be so upset they'll emigrate. Australia would be good - they love people who complain all the time over there..................
...........and it's a long way away.
Those, of course, who accept that they are a minority and do the good old British thing of making the best of (what they think is) a bad job are welcome to remain.

Not sure what the problem is. May has already so no deal is better than a bad deal so presumably if Spain throw a spanner in the works she'll just walk away with no deal. Suits her because if it ****s up the economy she can blame Spain!

We own a chunk of the EU, we don't owe them any money.”

It’s a major piece of work unravelling future commitments without actually going back and doing so retrospectively. What about transnational projects that have developed physical and other assets across a number of countries? What about infrastructure investment in this country? How about the combinations of grant and match funding? Intellectual property rights might be marginally easier to identify as these often by specified in contracts, and there are defaults if they haven’t, but valuing IP in financial terms is notoriously difficult. Even with agreed formulae for doing all of this, you would need to dissect each project individually.

Rich pickings for consultants over the coming 10 years if they opt for this approach. I might even get some post retirement spending money out of it. Things are looking up.

Oh dear, that bloke didn't have a clue. That was a bit like the pro leave marchers the other week. When interviewed some didn't even know what they were marching for and then said when pressed they might get violent.

On the contrary, we haven't 'got rid' of the Scots; on current form it looks as if we're not going to let them go even if they want to. On the face of it, a united Ireland looks like a reasonable idea, but you know as well as I do that such a solution would lead to bloodshed - there are those who would die - and kill - rather than go along with that - or haven't you learnt anything from the last forty odd years?
The crap-spouters have so far, sadly, proved to be impervious to any sort of persuasion...............................well, to be fair (I'm playing nicely now!), some have, but there are recidivists...................
