Come summer he won’t have a contract and thus will be on £0.00 a week and then just considers whatever offers are on the table. If the highest is £x then that’s all he can get, that or £0.00.

I dare say he will have plenty of offers, probably in and around 100k too, something I don't think we would consider offering. He maybe a great player and I would love to see him sign for us but ultimately I wouldn't want one star player on crazy wages they could unsettle the squad.

I suspect he's not our style we either go for complete unknowns or old boys who come back for the final few seasons
