Win, lose or draw, we learn nothing from this. Hodgson clearly doesn't watch the Premier League, if he did he would surely have given some of the up-and-coming in-form youngsters a start rather than persisting with the same SHIT players that barely get into their club sides and haven't had a good game all year in a meaningless friendly, hoping to cling onto a draw in a game where the result doesn't mean a thing. I'd rather we lost 4-0 with a bunch of youngsters out there than cling onto an imaginary point whilst serving as Spain's passing training exercise. He should've gone after the World Cup farce, he is a dinosaur.

Delph has made a couple of appearances off the bench for Man City, Lallana has done bugger all for Liverpool this season, Phil Jones has played 4 Premier League matches. Can't see how any of them justify a starting spot for the national team.
