Let's hope the players he spoke to actually listened and didn't just tune out because they already know it all and consider themselves God's gift. For all that we've invested in players and infrastructure below first team level, I can't say I've noticed a wealth of talent pushing hard for starting places in CH's line-up.

He was ASKED if we will stay up. Blame the question on live TV.

He was a pundit. He's not going to say "I'm not answering that question".

Indeed, he should have said that he was declining to answer that question in case some people get upset on the internet.

Doing things the right way, like ditching your old club for cash and glory. I would rather our youth players didn't follow the Lamar model and **** of to our rivals at the first opportunity. Where was West Hams rewards for developing played like him, Ferdinand, Cole and Carrick the right way. Frankly he can stick his condescending notions about the right way to do things up up his arse.
