I think a lot of people would be thinking it's time to invoke the 25th amendment - but then realise the VP is Mike Pence and is potentially even more scary than Trump

So far the winners have been China.For years they have taken the p.... out of everyone not to mention making it also hard to compete through
paying it's workers peanuts whilst the rest of us pay proper wages with proper working conditions.
It's time the winners were the rest of the world.
That would only happen if China do not retaliate. They are and will match every tariff.
It would be like a charity football game.China v Rest of the World.
As they lost 0-6 to Wales I would hope we would kick their ass.

If the rest of the world really wants to "win", then they would stop buying the cheap tattle that China produces. The reality is that companies have a financial responsibility to share holders, and the staff it employs, to keep costs as low as possible to make as much yankee dollar as possible. All the time there is moral outrage, but commercial demand - China can keep doing what it does.

A naive view on how much China is dependent upon exports. It’s economy is far from stable and the official ‘statistics’ make polls in the west look like peer-reviewed academic research.
6.7% growth rate last year despite a 16% fall in exports. Achieved by tickling domestic demand but keeping it reined in for future use. Very different to the other leading economies coming to an end of their quantitative easing programmes. Their only option is to print more money to do their tickling with but we have come to the end of the road for that and rate rises have started and more lie ahead. Their domestic demand is stalling.

Yes, Mike Pence a man who can’t have dinner with another women without his wife being present. He refers to his wife as ‘mother’ in public. He is also a man with a history of believing gay conversion therapy works.
