Great story On the Left Wing but, you as a publisher and me as a pedant , the thread title needs changing. Almora, as you go on to say, is in the foothills of the Himalayas and at 1683' is very low in the Himalayas not high.

Excellent work all round though.

Getting your sister to write a novel in order to get you a shirt is a bit OTT, shirley? Couldn't he just have waved his request on a piece of cardboard like everybody else?

You do it your way, others will do it theirs. My sister is writing the sequel to "Five on Kirrin island", "Five burn down Croydon", let's see where we get to!

Bit mean of the club not to send him a hat and gloves.

It looks freezing up there.

( Great work by the way )

The book is called “Gauri: A Sin Between My Legs” by Saumyata Bisht... strictly speaking it is a novel, but the true story of the rape, suppression and humiliation and murder of young women in rural India, under the protection of the Hindu caste system. It is poetically written in style and is considered a novel because the author has changed names and places.
