or Cardiff v Brighton ?

Or anyone playing someone else outside of arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs.

I even struggle to bother watching us live on the box these days

Perhaps said DULLARD would like to put a precis on here for us all to enjoy? NSC would be a much bigger audience I would have thought.

Clubs' main concern is the length of the deal (5 years), the price (although I pointed out that PL rights have fallen by 10% for the next round starting in 2019) and the 'red button' service, which appears to have a detrimental impact upon attendances midweek.

BT Sport not in the bidding, so Sky were fairly confident that they could buy the rights relatively cheaply. Whilst the Championship is exciting, it's of little appeal to armchair fans overseas, and a 'big' audience in the UK for a Champ match is 400,000, but they have been as low as 80,000 this season.

The threat of a breakaway is mainly a threat, Sky have a signed contract which they will believe is watertight, so will cost a lot to buy them out of it. If the rights are hugely undervalued, then seems odd that Eleven Sport, owned by Leeds supremo Andrea Radrizanni, didn't outbid Sky.

Everyone then started snoring so the DULLARD went back to marking exams.

So, in American Football style, the winner of the EPL would relocate their franchise to Keithley for the start of their first season in the EYPD. Obviously against such massive opposition, they would move back to Manchester/London/Liverpool having been relegated the following season, to be replaced a new franchise taking residence in Keithley.

[emoji106] Exactly!

I think we’ve got this one! I call Sky.

Given the size of Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday I'm surprised they have broken away from the EFL to form their own league comprising exclusively of their first teams and U23 teams, and having a 36 game season where they play each other 12 times. Based on a world wide audience of 3 billion they should be able to obtain TV revenue of at least £6 billion per round of fixtures. Thereby obtaining the wealth that they feel they are entitled to.

Now, now. Lowest form of wit, and all that. If you want real comedy check out some of Goldy and Tub Thumpy's recent efforts. They're crackin'

Leeds, Forest and MASSIVE weren't moaning about the TV money for lower clubs when they were in League 1 or whatever it was called in those days. If they want more money then sort their team out and get promoted

.... and Massive would only waste any extra income anyway. They tried to blow everyone else out the water with a quickfire £30m on transfer fees and £29m in annual payroll costs (club income is £23m). It failed.

The donuts also tripled their commitment to future player loyalty payments:

One of the best ideas mooted on NSC for years!

Here is some more meat on the bone.

The league could be called the EYPD (Elite Yorkshire Premier Division) and would sit above the EPL with the EPL winner promoted to this league each year. The EPL would hand it’s 4 Champions League places over to the EYPD.

This would be a division made up of 10 teams. They’d play each other 4 times (home, away, USA & Asia). There would be 9 founder members (who cannot get relegated), these would be:

Leeds Utd (biggest club in Europe)
Sheffield Wednesday (biggest club in UK)
Sheffield Utd (biggest club in Sheffield)
Sheffield FC (oldest club in the world)
Middlesbrough (biggest club in Yorkshire)
Hull
Barnsley
Huddersfield
Bradford City

And one other team:

Premier League Winner 18/19

The proposed European Super League has nothing on this ****er. Looking at £10billion for a 5 year world wide TV deal.

No place for Barnstoneworth Utd then. League destined to fail.
