Serious question.

Why do some people question the holocaust?

Why do they think planes didn't fly into the WTC?

Is it beyond their comprehension to accept terrible things can happen or are they merely pathetic attention seekers?

But the websites you rely on for absolute proof (your words) clearly do have problems with all Jews, wholeheartedly believe in the Protocols as fact and are clearly more than just anti-Zionist. You can get a good understanding of someone from the company they keep, as one very sage poster on here once said. You can couch it in whatever weasel words you like but, troll or conspiracy nut, I also think you're way out of line posting links to that website and supporting their stance.

Does anybody know why the Jews seem to have been such a regular target for abuse or discrimination throughout history? Hitler certainly wasn't the first to persecute them.

I'm not talking about Israel as a nation, I'm well aware of the political & sociological issues arising from that, but about the Jews as a religion, because anti-semitism existed long before modern day Israel (as we know it) did. Why have they so often been the target for other groups? Genuine question.

How long have you got? They were esoteric, educated, an uncanny knack for business, they spoke a funny language, they killed Christ....Easy target too seeing as they were a race without a home.

Doesn't everyone speak a funny language if it's one you don't understand? :)

I'd have thought the stereotypes pertaining to Jews (positive or negative) were no more likely to be a universal trait amongst their society than in any other group, surely? Just like Scots aren't all mean, and Scousers aren't all hilariously witty. It just seems weird that their so-called negative attributes have stuck throughout history in a way that they don't stick to other religious or racial groups.

Or maybe they do and it's all just a conspiracy to make me THINK that?? :ohmy:

I can have a go if you like. From pre biblical times the Semites were merchants and traders who relied, and still rely, on strong familial and cultural links to live alongside the Gentiles and still prosper.

Stateless for many generations they worked along the trade routes buying and selling and eventually lending money to individuals and, ultimately, states. The preference for privacy and distinctive religious clothing marked them out as "different" and the fact that many people end up owing them money makes them vulnerable when things go pear shaped. Post WW1 Germany was a good case in point. The Jews in Germany were still prospering whilst the German economy as a whole was in a state of collapse. Jews occupied many positions of high office in the law, medicine, education and media ( these being especially lucrative) and the Nazis were ale to point at this ad shout "our troubles are down to them" resentment, jealousy and commercial interest did the rest.

Education is highly valued in Jewish circles and jewish kids are encouraged to do as well as they can. We could all do with a bit more of that and society would be a better place

You fail to recognise AGAIN in this thread i have pointed to western occultist and not 'jews.' Yes there are many jews in alot of power - but that FACT does not make me a "quick, grab shielf off the shelf" = anti-semite.
