That's right I don't, this matter is just like the outcomes of football matches, referendums and general elections in that there are different outcomes possible.

You think the ban won't be overturned by Trump because of the legal constitutional framework, I think it will..........so let's see what happens?

But why do you think he can turn over the constitution? Im really keen to know and further my understanding. Or are you simply talking shit?

I am not an expert on the process here.

You don't need to be an expert. The American constitution is a very reasonably simple, clear and an easily accessible document. As are the rules of change.

This is surely taking things too far now, there must be something in place to stop the US president from asking the population to blame a judge for interpreting the law. Lets hope they hold Trump to account if something happens to this judge.

I dont believe that people are pouring in with the ban lifted as they still need visas but no doubt his supporters will take it as being a fact. Period.

Someone really needs to take away his Twitter account. Do any other heads of state carry on like this?

Why take it away ? It puts most folks view of him beyond doubt.

Trump becoming President by the US democratic electoral system does not give him the right to break US Constitutional Laws. He fingered his way and evaded taxes through Criminal Law but he'll hit the wall with the Constitution.

They are just giving him rope to hang himself with.

Once he declares war on Iran via twitter they'll 25th ammend him, and declare him not mentally fit enough to carry on in office.

I wonder if he'll try and use the "locker room banter" argument.

Perhaps while the whining lefties on here are looking for the 51st state, they could also try and find a President who hasn't used Executive decrees since George Washington.Even your hero wasn't averse to using them and doesn't seem that keen on immigration!

Have you read what you posted?

............harder for illegal immigrants........

As opposed to Trump making it harder for people who have documentation to enter the USA legally,

All presidents issue them. This isn't the real issue, or the point.

Talk about missing the point!

not really, made a fair point. everyone following this knows executive orders are common (dozens a year issued). the reference to Obama is being misapplied, not only a different detail but didn't run foul of existing law. Trumps does, which is why judges have imposed injunction on it.

It was close to happening here when the high court said we do have the rule of parliament over art 50, many Tory MP's on the right were happy to try and ride rough shed over the rule of law to please the Daily Mail

Mob rule to the peasants seem to be the way some would like it, the law is only there when you want it or when you need it.

The point being made, and that was missed, is that Obama also used Executive Orders. Not about Obama's view on immigrants.

And then Parliament democratically voted to expedite Brexit according to the will of the electorate as expressed by the referendum, even though a majority didn't agree with leaving the EU.
If the same principles of democracy apply in the States, then the appropriate number of Senators and Congressmen would vote to change the law so that Trump's policy can become law. Can't see that happening somehow!

Precisely. It's a false equivalence. Executive orders themselves are not the problem - and I'm not sure anyone is saying they are.
