Very enjoyable match. We battered Hull but their goalkeeper was on his game. We lost because of Hyppia-like defensive organisation. The full backs were pushed to the half way line and the central defenders were too far apart. All Hull had to do was break at pace. Thoughts on a couple of our players:
Molumby - orchestrated everything for us. Tackling can be messy but he is going to be important for us.
Alzate - there is a very good player in there but not clear if he is a winger or a 10
Baldock - not close to first team sharpness and lacked pace

Was very impressed with Alzate. You're right about Baldock but it's still early days. Enjoyable watch bar the suicidle defending

Really liked this lad v Blackburn - shall we form the Alzate fan club and remind everyone when he's shining in the league that we started it...?
