What happened to that German left back you said we were signing?

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

We got him that was Suttner.

Yes I know he is Austrian. Easy mistake to make because he signed from a German club.

I was in a discussion with someone and I started to speak about Pascal Gross. I couldn't remember his name so I said ''That German bloke you just signed'' I got the response of ''which one'' ?

At the time the response just flew over my head - Then within 48 hours Suttner was announced. That's what I call missing an opportunity to be ITK on my part

Only one man stands alone:-

I've heard we're signing a black player this month. Should be announced soon.

Commander, or should that be Chief Exec, you've now shown your hand, Paul it's all right for me to call you Paul isn't it?

Perhaps just a rightback and a keeper needed now ?

And maybe a central midfielder as Kayal is injured.

Any current rumours ? ???

Latest from Bloom via Fan Forum.

"We haven't stopped [buying players] and hopefully there will be one or two more before the end of August. "

In Argus today, Naylor confirms its still, even after Izquierdo, likely to be the long reported 3 players (3rd GK, RB and a striker)

He also confirms that the opening bid for Ghana striker target was turned down.
"they will have to fork out in excess of £8 million to land Ghanaian striker target Raphael Dwamena from Swiss side FC Zurich.
Boss Chris Hughton wants to add another right-back and goalkeeper to the squad as well before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month."

Naylor says no.
Gomez?

I think Liverpool will let a few players leave and spend some big bucks on players from their feeder club and maybe Mahrez from Leicester. In the hullabaloo, I think Gomez will be ours for a season loan! Why? Because I think that the all of the change left at the bottom of Tony's giant purse is for the new striker!

His reporting is wrong or the club are lying ?

A bit of both. You would be naive in the extreme to believe the club doesn't keep things close to their chest, are they going to give Naylor snippets? Of course. Are they going to tell him everything? Of course not.

Based on no information, I think Gomez falls into the latter.

Just a feeling.

Edit - not lying, just economical with detail.

Edit 2 - I don't think you are naive either [emoji2]

According to The S*n (I read this online, I wouldn't buy the thing) ourselves and Newcastle are both interested in Lucas Perez, but Arsenal are asking £20 million.
