Sure.

But you'll note that the fact that the tomatoes are grilled is clearly stated in the description, so there is no ambiguity whatsoever. Which is fair enough and all above board.

If I ordered a salad that contained tomatoes, the default setting for the tomatoes is uncooked. That's just standard protocol. If the salad then arrived with hot grilled tomatoes, with no prior warning either on the menu or orally, then I'd probably go postal.

Top tip for bacon sarnies: do the bread under the grill but only cook one side of each slice. Assemble the sandwich with the toasted sides on the outside. The sensation of crunching through the toasted outer, then hitting the soft underside, then the hot bacon is utterly sublime. Try it. You will not regret it.
