I'm late coming to Athletico Mince, but have been catching up with Mortimer's unique genius through Youtube clips. His Sunderland songs and gangs of the PL are hilarious, but this is a new level:

It's all absolutely wonderful, and Bob's doing some of his best stuff for years. This is one of my favourite moments: The Ballad of Barry Home-owner. It's hard not to feel sorry for the daft tit!

Is there any greater pleasure in light entertainment than watching Bob Mortimer on WILTY?

A couple of beers and a large Jamesons and I grinned through his Chris Rea story for what must be the fifth or sixth time, only to end up in tears once again. Mitchell's reaction is a perfect topper.
