One of my favourite bands but i dont think they ever get the credit they deserve!

Saw 'em at the Festival in 1998 (might've been 1997), and they were pretty good. Kung Fu is quality... and Jack Names the Planets. Didn't like the "Oh Yeah" type of tunes much though.

Generally a thumbs-up though.

Yes. Girl From Mars is an awesome song, by far their best. In fact the whole album 1977 is great.

Not got any of their stuff apart from a few downloaded tracks - good band. Have been consistently good since Britpop faded away in 1997.

I like them a bit and got their best of, Jack Names The Planets being the only song that really stands out. They are a very simple band that probably take themselves a bit too seriously considering the one-dimensional pop songs they usually churn out. I can't understand why anyone would dislike them.

i bought 1977 when it came out thought they were ok.

my Mrs recently bought their Greatest hits and it struck me how many songs of theirs i like, they are playing at V2003 which im going to but think the Super Furry Animals are playing the same time on another stage
