Now I know why. I've just been given rep on the It's Friday thread but that, and this one, are both grey, instead of green or red. Does that mean that I had a positive and a negative rep?

When I click on my green block all I see is an unkind comment.
I think that was when it was switched off before, the table where all the rep is stored has probably remained untouched since then.
