I am as ready as I need to be at this time of year.

i.e I am aware that Christmas is a thing happening next month.

I've booked every Monday & Friday off in December this year... which means I'll not be ready until 24th December no doubt

Pretty much where we are as we're going to my mum's (5 minute walk away) this Christmas. Nothing much to do apart from put tree etc up. Marvellous.

I'm hosting the parents this year. I guess I should figure what's involved in cooking a Christmas dinner (or just get Mum to cook it).
