In my heart of hearts....

Apart from its cloying sentiment wtf is it?

There's a heart in the middle of your heart?
You have a heart made of lots of hearts?
You're Dr Who and you really rate one heart over the other?

You're a weak minded simpleton who does sweet fa for your parents, beat your kids in a supermarket and weep over rehashed lady Di stories? Ah yes that.

To be fair, hearing footballers say "you know" about one hundred times during a two minute interview hacks me off more. You know.

top 3 overused and (usually nonsensical) for me;

1/ to be fair
2/ it is what it is
3/ I was 'like' and he was 'like'

"Not a problem" seems to be overused these days.
When asking for a pint in the pub and the bar person says "not a problem" I do feel like saying " ffs it's pouring a pint of beer I don't expect it to be a fecking problem"
Sorry rant over, I will calm down by going back to the Brexit thread.

"Can I get.." instead of " Can i have.." Two different meanings which seems to be lost on a lot of people . Yes you can have a coffee which I will get for you. No you bloody well can't climb over the counter and get it yourself. Now **** OFF

Here's a fresh one to drive you mad - now you know, it will be your new irritant, especially across the Sky TV and radio channels.

The word they have learned is:

ALLUDING

The phrase I HATE at the moment is the one all over social media where someone posts a vid or meme and people write 'I'm dead' underneath (normally with the crying with laughter emoji). Not sure why it annoys me so much but I am dying or I am dead is not a very nice expression.
