How many dots can you see?

I should've said twelve black dots with a white surround and 37 dots the same colour as the lines.
12 for me.
Surely there could be millions of smaller ones if they are the same colour?

If you're talking pixels, yes, but I'm assuming we're talking about dots of the same size

Really good illusion - probably tells you a lot about our eyesight which we are missing....I can only see 2 if i look at the centre. then 12 once I move my eyes around.
