I've got a couple of signed shirts (just wanted something for my office wall), one from Uwe and one from Sam Baldock....both cost about £100 too. Got them through the CharityStars website the club often uses

Not doubting you but I’d be very surprised seeing as they were Poppy shirts, the players would have been under clear instruction not to give them away. That said, it’s footballers we’re talking about.
I was told when we did a stadium tour that the players are issued 2 shirts for each match, they may or may not change them at half time. They’ll also get used for more then one match so long as they are not damaged. Hence so often you see match shirts advertised as “player issued” or “match issued”. There is so much fakery going on now that the only way you can be sure a shirt is authenticity player worn or issued is if you buy them in these types of auctions, or if the player gives you the shirt directly, the smellier, the better, some say.
