As I was walking down Shoreham Road
Singing singing Brighton are the champions
Saw Malcolm Allison sitting on a wall (on a wall)
I said to him whats up my friend
He said that Palace ran again
Singing singing Brighton are the champions
Singing singing Brighton are the kings

I remember this being sung early 70s although we weren't really champions, blows out of the water the Mullery/Venables story being the start of our hatred/rivalry.

Started going in the North Stand in the early 70's & this is still a favourite, which I've been known to belt out to bemused looks after a victory in various pubs in town.

Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankly
Have you heard of the North Bank Highbury?
Shanks said no I don't think so
But I've heard of the Brighton, North Stand

La La La etc.
That would never get past the NSC song police now... [emoji846]

Differet times. To think we used to happily sing "You'll Never Walk Alone"...

Got to admit the goal kick ......"your SHIT! AAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........." makes me chuckle no end.

Childish, puerile and love it

I also really like the "who" at visiting teams subs. The bigger the name the better.

I cringe when I hear these, and that “handball”, “there’s no one there”, small town in *****.

What do I like?
We are Brighton from the south
GOSBTS
La la la la la la la, ......... Brighton
And of course
5-0 to the Albion

Might well of done, although the (cringe) Aggro song normally started when it was kicking off somewhere; on the pitch or off.

While Brighton fans taking loads of gay abuse from a Charlton fan on the opposite platform then a train came in on his side and he was the only Charlton fan left on the platform when it pulled out and about 200+ Brighton Fans started singing you to fat to get on the train even the police started laughing and we had won again at Charlton.

As a young scally in the South stand at the Goldstone I loved it when the rozzers came in to sort out a spot of bother and were met with a chant of
'Who's that c*** with a tit on his head, dooh dah, dooh dah'.
