..when they run at all, or aren't delayed, yep. I bet if you averaged it all out, including cancellations, I would not be far out...

I'm not going to defend GTR as they are a shambles but I commute up to the smoke every day - 1 hour 12 mins this morning. I watch my journey times like a hawk as I claim delay/repay any time I can.

Make sure you check out Ruby's on a Saturday night, free entry and a bloody fantastic night out. Other recommendation would be Dalston Eastern Curve Garden on a sunny day. A literally hidden gem.

It's really easy to get down to Brighton for games so pick up a ticket where you can and watch it live. Otherwise, anything on Sky/BT Sport will always be shown in pubs, White Hart is always good, but always worth a walk to Bar Kick imo.

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation my man. :)

I'll definitely come to Brighton for a game once I find a employment. Aiming to come down for the Chelsea game in December for my Birthday.

I'm not disputing that when they run on time, the journey time is as you say - I'm saying that if you factor in all the times that they don't run on time, the average will be a lot longer.

Also, it was intended to be a somewhat tongue in cheek comment!

Done a Frexit, now in London
This sports bar near Picadilly, is it Rileys on Haymarket or the one in the Casino? Asking for a friend. the get yourself on the season ticket list. Reminds me, I should say hello to my friends over in Hamilton.

Twice? Once is a typo, twice is shirley conscious?

No pub anywhere in the UK is guaranteed to show every BHAFC game, simply because not every BHAFC game is on broadcast TV in the UK. Lots of pubs in Brighton are guaranteed to show every game that is broadcast (and is only 3 hours on a good day by train from London), but I doubt there's a single pub in London that is guaranteed to show every Brighton game (could be wrong on this last point)...

3 hours on a good day?? Bloody hell does the train break down for 2 hours on a good day then?

Walthamstow
A few of us Walthamstow (ex Dalstan) Seagulls watch games in the Coppermill. Much less wanky than hipster Dalstan. Saying that it's a crappy Ukipesque pub in a good lefty multi cultural part of the world. We're mostly Dads though and arranging a meet up is far from guaranteed.

Hmmm remind me to avoid that establishment.

There is now an Albion watering hole in the middle of Croydon - Yes Croydon.

I took it over on Monday. Already started with the banter with the locals, which is fun.

Not sure how they'll react to the new blue and white decor though! :p

Hey Folks,

I'm moving to the UK (London) in October, and sports packages seem very expensive, so I was thinking of watching the games at a pub. Are there any pubs that are dedicated to BHAFC which are gauranteed to show every game?

I live not far from Dalston. You wont find any dedicated Albion pubs in London, but plenty that will show every Sky or BT Sport televised game. I normally head to the White Hart on Dalston high street, or Bar Kick in Shoreditch is probably the best sports bar around that area..
