A question: why do both Newcastle and Huddersfield look so much better than us? It's v depressing.

Possibly because both were in The Championship last season . It has to be said that Hudderfield have played 1 of the favorites for relegation and a promoted side as opposed to us playing a title favorite and recent title winner.

Not going to lie, if Huddersfield win again it will hurt....

Not sure, they played Palace, who've been awful for a few seasons. Newcastle from last season. We had title favourites and Leicester who only recently won the league and not so much struggled last season...

My pain lies with how we've performed

Because at the moment they are.

But why? We have had more time than Hudds to recruit players and we have the same amount of money yet we look so under prepared by comparison. Suggests our recruitment team leaves something to be desired.

Look at their opposition so far and then look at ours and it will give you the biggest part of the answer.

What game are you watching both teams look very vulnerable at the back and would be eaten alive by the quality of striker we have faced in our opening games.

Surely the quality of what your up against makes a big difference. Title favourites and title winners of 2 seasons ago.
Huddersfield look like the Huddersfield from last year to me. Pressing well and doing what they do best. Added a decent striker in there as well who has pace and power. But they have done it V Palace and now Newcastle.
Newcastle don't look like they have improved much either tbh but defo have players with PL experience which helps a bit but their defeat v Spurs wasn't much different to ours v City.

Huddersfield started quickly (as they always do) but I don't think either team has looked great. If we get our act together, we could finish above both.

What nonsense. Ten man Newcastle played the best striker in the league with having two defenders going off injured after 15 mins and kept him out.
