Are labour voters the worst losers in the history of the world?

Why are you putting labour and snp votes together as one.? It doesn't work like that.

if you want to use parties with 'similar' ethos such as labour and SNP then you have to join the Tory and UKIP vote with makes it about 15 million votes, not close at all really is it ?

yes,but using the French system of a 2nd round between the the top 2 parties

Conservatives would of gained all the UKIP votes,which was ,let's face it,quite alot more than expected

if Labour had won a very similiar majority,I can't imagine many Labour voters being on here saying that was close

Because this discussion is mostly about ideology, and those two parties are United in being diametrically opposed to that of the Tories.

Anyway, the point stands - even if you discount the SNP, it was still Con 11.3m Lab 9.3m - certainly not what could be described as 'not even close'.

The UKIP vote is much more difficult to call. You are correct of course, that a lot of them would be natural right-leaning Tories. Plenty of them though are disaffected LibDems, or single issue voters, for whom none of the main parties appealed.

That's not how it works. Should UKIP voters be added to the Tory votes? Of course not.

Labour would never change the FPTP system, as they showed during the 13 years in power - and if I remember rightly there was a pitiful turnout for the AV referendum.

I would include the UKIP vote with the Tory because most of them are right leaning in my opinion.

I quite warmed to Milliband nearing the vote, he reminded me of a supply teacher on the last day of term, was kind of up for anything knowing he wouldn't be around to suffer the fallout. Watch a video of Russell Brand? Sure why not?

The pollsters got it completely wrong. I got it seriously wrong. Wouldn't be surprised if Bozza is already sounding out HT about another thread in 2019 as it will be a monumental "clickbait" revenue earner for NSC.
