Very impressive photos by all, how do the courgettes get distributed in the communal garden.
Right I have not got any photos for this year but will get some later on as I am very pleased with my scaffold pole, fishing net and black beach hut additions.

If you're talking about our garden, our attitude is 'help yourself, but leave some for others'. At the moment, we're in the throes of harvesting a pretty decent crop of broad beans, which leads to our favourite side dish.
Boil a couple of dozen pods' worth of broad beans for about four minutes (no salt). Meanwhile, dry fry a chopped up (into cubes) slab of halloumi. Grate the zet of a lemon and chop a small handful of mint.
When the beans are cooked, and the halloumi is nicely charred, combine all the ingredients into the one pan, and toss a little extra virgin olive oil. Perfect.

There is an Italian on our plot who makes his own red wine, it's bloody strong and makes you near blind

When I had an allotment, I used to keep all garden tools in the compost bin to keep the thieves and vandals from totally wasting a journey. Spent most Sunday mornings going to car boot sales to stock up on forks and hoes. What's the security like nowadays?
Been snooping [MENTION=18309]Muzzy[/MENTION] 's Facebook page The Allotment Shed. Good stuff. No nearer to where he is though. I'm guessing Lincolnshire due to A1 Radio visiting him and the Flint wall. There is a river prone to flooding as well, perhaps. Great place.
4-5 break-ins a year at The Weald Allotments in Hove. Personally never had anything stolen but have had our door ripped off the beach hut and the inside turned over. The tools were in the shed next door. Usually kids looking for alcohol and mischief.
Change of mind. Outside Lewes on road to Ringmer overlooking the Ouse Valley?

Hit and miss with wine making, but last year's is still a bit acidic but previous years have have reached a palatable state after a couple of years. Makes for an interesting red champagne which equally quaffable.
