Yet to be convinced we've spent wisely, based on performances thus far we seem to have got a lot of average players in, one can only hope they improve with time, especially Ryan & Suttner, those two worry me the most.

That's total spending THIS season. Apart from Huddersfield and Newcastle, (who have spent more then us anyway this window) All those premier league clubs are WAY in front for squad quality and depth!.

I thought we'd spent more than that - somewhere close to £50m
El Presidente will have a better estimate, I'm sure.

Pretty sure the £50m mentioned included the Dwamena deal that subsequently didn’t happen.

Be interesting to see which clubs are likely to stay within PL FFP levels.

I suspect that with TV revenues up dramatically but match-day incomes relatively unchanged, a lot of clubs will be breaching FFP rules. Someone did explain the rules to me yesterday but I may not have understood them correctly!

We could have spent £25m on strikers only. Not ideal but could have gone along with rest and reviewed in Jan, More chance of surviving then what we have done. I even remember Murray saying club likely to get another centre forward and he wont play every game. Little did he know when fit will be playing every game

Leeds - but not the dirty bit

There aren't as many millions left as some might think. Using very rounded figures, say £100m income more than last year. we lost about 25m last year so that leaves 75m. Spending on stadium improvement 5m leaves 70m. 35m spent so far on players leaves 35m, increased wage bill - no idea but say 25 squad all earning an extra 10 grand a week ( I know unlikely but..) is 13m, leaves 22m to play with. Not so much in the world of Premier League.

(as mentioned figures very rough and probably all wrong)

Looks like how the league table will look at the end of the season! I'd be happy with that
