Did Duffy actually make contact? I only saw replays at half time on a live stream but it looked like he just motioned at him rather than actually following through.

It seemed that Duffy wanted to play hookie from the match. You had to know the referee had a small fuse in this volatile match.

play hookie (verb): Skipping school, missing classes, taking as extended lunch, skipping out of work for the day/afternoon just to have fun. If you are going to play hookie once in a while, and I highly recommend that you do, you must do it like a prct 5, 2017

Don't think it really matters, tbh. It was incredibly dumb of Shane. In terms of his bad decisions, it's up there with the time Katie Price allegedly stayed the night.
