It's about being shown to the larger audience, yes we could have watched Sky or BT, but the BBC does the larger audience, so it is, at the best, disappointing.

A 1-1 draw with the team that are 13th and 18th , as exciting as the last few minutes were for Albion fans, is still not likely to be ahead of a Man City trouncing, a 3-1 win for Everton, Spurs/Arsenal, Swansea's "recovery" , and West Ham beating Watford after their Chelsea win on Monday.

Bizarre editing by motd, why as football fans would we be more interested in a spat over who takes the penalty, rather than a) the goals or b) the penalty decision itself. Odd.

IMO it was so Lineker didn't have to mention us.

Watched the highlights on MOTD and Sky and I thought the sky coverage made us look a bit unlucky Buckland pulled of some very good saves and we played some good football however we do need to be a bit more clinical in front of goal.
Swansea are on a good run we need to get behind the team however Let's enjoy the Cup Game Saturday and win and keep the confidence going I still think we going to take some points of the top teams at home.

The fuss on here at even the slightest hint of Albion players having a beef with each other or the manager suggests that a “spat” is very much what fans are interested in.

Joke of a match assessment. Zero analysis & don't even show the goals (wonder stuff from shaqiri & tiki taka from brighton)

The after match coverage in the generic TSN studio was great and they went I to detail about the whole relegation race and how many teams were involved. Was refreshing to see that at least one broadcaster cared

there wasn't "zero assessment". There was analysis by the managers, the penalty, the Charlie Adam/Jesu spat, whether Lewis Dunk's tackle was a penalty , and whether Knockaert's header was behind the line.
And the goals were all shown and replayed , obviously , in the commentary where the commentator waxed lyrical about Izquierdo goal.
Of course it could have been more . But no surprise it was the last game out of 6. If you fancy an hour, mind, of the BBC, fans and players analysing the performance then try this

or from a Stoke point of view

Does it really matter? Most people watch the whole show anyway so you always get to see your team. Its normally whoever scores the most down to the 'boring' 0-0's.

It was a superb goal by Albion standards. By Premier League standards, very good but hardly amazing.

I could not give a Chinese shite where we are in the programme, but admit it was odd to put the match on the end when there was so much to show and discuss, then ran out of time.
Just very poor programming.

So many potential discussion points from yesterdays game, if it was Man U v Liverpool they'd be bed wetting over the last 5 mins. 2/10 for MOTD this week

Nonsense. It was a fantastic goal at any level. The pace, of it, sublime touches, vision and finish were all exquisite and worthy of a champions league team.

You’ll struggle to see a better goal all season. It was far superior to Jose’s last week TBH.

Very disappointing MOTD coverage. There was a lot more on that game and more excitement than the Man City Leicester non event. Joke to be on last with hardly any coverage.
