Indeed. We've come a long way since then. Ironically though we actually played pretty well that night and scored a couple of nice goals, certainly didn't deserve to lose.

My main memory of playing Bournemouth is the 35,000 crowd at the Goldstone in 71-72. In my favourite location near the south end of the west stand, but stuck right near the back. Could hardly see a thing!

You absolute roaster. You should have declined to shirk from home and gone into the office.

Although, it's nice to have a scapegoat lined-up early. Good job.
