Mo must be the best all rounder in cricket at the moment.

Not sure when these were updated but according to the ICC rankings he's number 4.

1 Shakib Al Hasan BAN 431
2 R.A. Jadeja IND 414
3 R. Ashwin IND 413
4 Moeen Ali ENG 374

Been trying find out since I posted but can't find anything better than you.

Not bad though for someone who has been written off as bowler by so called experts.

Some great individual performances in this test for England but Mooen Ali's bowling improvement is incredible. World class spin from him throughout the series.

Shall we discuss Hales' double century at a run a ball and his generally excellent run of form!?

Largely down to Saqlain, you'd think.

Get shot of Jennings, Hameed in. Hopefully Dawson never plays for England again aswell.. Average spinner, at best.

Seth African batting has been very ordinary but you can only play what is put before you.

A good result when the English top order is clearly still in need of sorting out but the middle order and bowlers are top notch, when Woakes comes back will be even better.

I agree that Saqlain deserves a lot of credit. Yes, Jennings needs to be dropped and reflect on where he needs to improve, although I don't see that Hameed has earned a recall at this particular time. I'd give Stoneman a shot for now. As for Dawson, he can do one.

Who do you suggest to make the step up as the obvious ones have been tried and failed. I do not think Hales is the answer either FWIW?

Cook and Haseeb Hameed to open, Root at 3, Ballance at 4, Stokes/Bairstow/Woakes at 5/6/7, Ali, TRJ (or Finn or Wood), Broad, and Anderson.
