Perhaps Dave should have worn his hat with a camera on it!

He could have banged that cyclist up for good, especially after some clever editing.

I read recently that the bassist was a coauthor and had recently got his lawyers to write to the BBC to get them to acknowledge him as well as Noddy. Apparently they make half a mil every year from it.

Unfortunately by the time someone had picked him up and asked " how does it feel?" the cyclist was far, far away.

And Jim Lea who was really the main creative force. Noddy tended to concentrate on the lyrics.

They are a Midlands John and Taupin.
