Fireworks go off all year round up here.
As [MENTION=750]swindonseagull[/MENTION] has already said, it's a multicultural society.
So as long as they are not bothering anyone seriously, what does I matter.
I believe the Maltese have an international firework display every year, in April?

Malta has that festival plus every village /town has an annual festa and let off fireworks during their week.
Flipping noisy too!

Someone blew a load of dosh in fireworks here in Shoreham last night too...Our dog couldn't give two hoots, and I like watching them, especially when some other fool is paying
