I hope they don't drop a couple of gears for the second half.

Jesse must be on the goal of the WC for that beauty.

With a rather excellent lay-off assist.Wonder who that was from?Could it have been Raheem?

What a horrible, dirty, cheating bunch of ***** Panama are. I hope we put 10 past them.

Two things about our performance that are carry ons from the Tunisia game:

We look really dangerous at set pieces;

We look incredibly fragile in defence.

The combination of the two, along with Belgium's razor sharp attack, dodgy-ish defence and nothing really riding on the outcome of the match suggests that our game against Belgium is going to be a humdinger of a goal fest.

Second half will be game management. Keep the ball and don't over exert themselves. Hopefully we will keep at them though, want some more goals to keep me interested

The transformation from Palace tw4t to Sussex hero is now complete.

Southgate succeeding where so many high profile alternatives (with better squads at their disposal) have failed.

Belgium are resting their players, and they don't want to top the group. We'll have to score a deliberate own goal, and that could lead to disqualification due to bringing the game into disrepute.

Just stop bloody scoring!

Can’t say ive looked into it. But we could we get if finish second

Yep, 10 would do me as long as they get one as I have a sizeable bet on both teams to score...

A ridiculous excuse of a game of football. Fair play to our lot for not rising to it and doing the job but this is a non league level team playing rugby. I get why they have regional qualifying and it does produce fairy stories occasionally but if this is what it produces, bring on worldwide qualifiers. Get these shenanigans out of the way in the qualifying and have the best 32/48 teams playing in the finals.

But it isn’t like this across the groups though. I think Panama are the second lowest ranked team at the tournament, and it just so happens that unfortunately (or fortunately if you look at it another way) they are in England’s group. And if you do away with supposedly lesser nations that will obviously affect England’s chances. Would you really want to replace Panama with a much higher ranking team?
