Hither (sometimes Thither)
Have bunged on Dinosaur Jr - Back to Your Heart. Seeing them live about 8 years ago I remember myself, and quite a number of people in the crowd, going a bit doolally to that one.

Wish I could have gone to Reading 1991:

Dinosaur Jr
Nirvana
Sonic Youth
Iggy Pop
Blur

Never see a lineup like that again, and definitely not at Reading!

I was there! Aged 17 and foolish enough to think everything would thenceforth be equally splendid forever.

That'll be a  from me too!
Although as I was 21 I was considerably more maturer that you.

Definitely 'Sebadoh' at Pevenseagull towers.

Lord, how I need this season to finish

Get a grip FFS. It will only get worse and worse. Until we either cross the line or see it disappear ahead and out of reach. And in the long run we are all dead.:kiss:

Went to Reading around then (perhaps it was 1990) and saw Faith No More and The Pixies, the latter was one of the best gigs I've been to. I also saw Dinosaur Jr a year or two earlier, and it was recorded at 126 decibels (?) -- one of the loudest I've been to. It's not all crowing however: Nirvana played a month beforehand, and I decided not to go.

Getting ever so closer to being an old fart, I remember seeing Dinosaur Jr supporting Sonic Youth at the Astoria in '88. They were great. Saw them a couple of times after that in 91 and 92 probably and the live sound was just sludgey and stupidly loud. I kind of lost interest despite buying all their stuff but really like the last album.
