We haven't left the EU yet you utter pillock. When we stop pumping BILLIONS into their slush funds, we can chose how we spend it for ourselves. Quite simple, really.

Here's a thought. Mark out a continuum (i.e. a straight line). At one end you put the hard-line Brexiteers (crash out and go under WTO rules) - such as Jacob Rees Mogg. At the other end you put the LibDems - another referendum, sign up to Single Market.
I reckon that if you put an X right in the middle you are probably looking at the Corbyn approach. Who'd have thought: JC at the centre-ground of British politics? We live in strange times.

as much as that looks to be the case, he's still trying to further the belief that we'll be able to get a new customs union going and dictate terms favourable to us, which is unhelpful, as the EU won't co-operate. But then, why would they?

For once I hear and agree with you Comrade. In a fractured nation I take great comfort in the fact that whilst I share differing views with you, we can unite over, and agree with, the beliefs of Jeremy Corbyn. At times I doubted him and questioned him but you, [MENTION=12825]cunning fergus[/MENTION], always knew best.
I’ve just got off the slopes, but when I’m rested I will raise a glass to you, Jezza, and the customs union; shoulder to shoulder comrade.
This is the problem; it is not this simple. You can’t choose how you spend all of it you wally. For example some will need to be ploughed into setting up the hundreds of administrative bodies which will oversee all the EU laws which will be rolled over into U.K. law. The EU currently does this and with significant saving from their economy of scale.
Which bit of WE CAN CHOOSE didn't you understand?
