Anyone else been up it? Misses won tickets in her Xmas raffle, got the last "flight" at 16:30 today, great views but the security check was just like being at an airport! Half hour queue, metal detectors and searches, guess it's better safe than sorry!

Went up on a freebie and even that was overpriced for the utter pointlessness that is the eyesore 360.

Observation towers need sights for you to observe. There’s nothing you can see up there that’s worth seeing that you can’t see from ground level.

Went for a nice meal at The New Club opposite after, great food and had the place to ourselves!

Tbf people were signing up for annual membership but it's defiantly a one time thing

We went up the i360 when it first opened on a beautiful sunny day. The queuing and security checks were brief compared to airport palavars.

We loved it, the views of our amazing city and coast were amazing. I'm pleased Brighton has added a further attraction, something entirely unique.

I've noticed all the nimbies and miseries, on the joke of an Argus website, who revelled in its initial breakdowns .... have forgotten about it, instead spitting their negativity about any other change in Sussex.

If you sign up for a year (it only costs £1) it means that your 'flight' :)lolol:) is half price if you are a local.

Another that got a freebie here. Went up at night - was OK but nothing like the hype. I certainly wouldn't pay to go up in it and unless there's something else thrown in probably wouldn't even bother with another freebie.

Missis and I took 4 grandchildren up it last week on a nice sunny day with good views. They had a deal going for half term. Cost £16 for us all! We got residents’ rates and the kids went free. Would have cost a fortune otherwise. Happy days.

went up last summer as we were given tickets as a present. I enjoyed it as did my wife, however I'm not sure how I'd feel about it if I'd paid for it myself as it doesn't take a particularly long amount of time and isn't that cheap. It's not the sort of thing you'd go on more than once either, but I'd recommend going (try and blag it as a present if possible)

Actually been on it twice. Both times with visitors from other parts of country. Pleased to say us and visitors really enjoyed same.

Will go again, probably, when we have some new visitors. Have to say, spotted buildings and other hidden places I have never seen from the ground.
