On an earlier thread someone suggested parking atsouthampton airport parkway which is just off the M27 and get a train in. 20 mins walk to stadium.
Then you miss all the traffic in Soton.
That's our plan to get there.

Make sure you park in the multi-storey, not the station car park. Generally much cheaper and more secure.

train is favourite, if you;re not bothered about getting home the same night

Parking at the wetherspoons Admiral Sir Something or other down at Ocean Village is the other option, with a twenty minute walk to the ground.

And you can always leave early to beat the traffic if that is your main aim when going to a game, and miss Murray's late late winner

You still can, but you’ll need to buy one of the houses they’ve built on it.

Ah, well there you go, last time we drove must have been back in Gus Poyets time, shame, was very convenient.
