Wasn't just a million was it.
It was a license for every single player to hold us over a barrel from now on.
Not the first time either. We withdrew our interest in Vydra because the turns were ridiculous. Good thing too as he is shit.
I'd hazard a guess that we'd pay at least that, or more for him if he were available now. You pay the money for strikers, simple.

But that's what agents of top strikers do. They can write their own cheques because, they are top of the food chain, in football terms. Pay it and get your man. Don't pay it and end up with no strikers....Bet we shell out a damn sight more than that, in the next four day for people not half as good. Cos as far as getting value for money now. We are royally f##ked, cos everyone knows we are desperate.

Tammy Abraham darts in to meet Leroy Fer's cross, and his marker Martin Kelly, who has just come on, is all over the place.

??? Didn't Fer fail a medical at one time ???

Abraham was bang average apart from that. Spent most of the rest of the game offside. Terrible defending.

OT, but not sure where else to post it. What do journalists think of Pep Guardiola? He comes across as a an extremely rude dick in every interview I watch.

Arrogant so and so who expected to come here and show us footballing plebs how to play the beautiful game and sulked when it didn't happen. His English isn't up to much, but he has taken on one British trait very successfully - sarcasm.

True that, he seems to mumble most of his words making it hard to understand what he's saying. I get the impression part of that is to do with him thinking the journalists don't deserve the effort he would have to go through to pronounce words clearly.

Spends a lot of time moaning about his fellow players and waving his arms around in disgust. Should have thought more about his development than his fortune maybe.

Struggled to wave his arms around much from the confines of Dunk’s pocket.

To be fair he put it on a plate for their substitute striker who should have buried it late on, and made some direct driving runs throughout the game. Will go on to be a very good player given he is only 20 years old imo.

Agreed, and good to get him in the England squad early. He may not play but still good experience. Just gutted Dunk didn’t get the opportunity. Hope that’ll come soon though

He recommended us to Tomori last season he isnt a bad lad, I dont blame him for going for a more established prem team. More of a gamble for us its a hard choice to make, I think he made the wrong decision for which is the better team but he did get picked for England and Dunk didnt...so it has worked better for him so far.

Looked like he was trying hard, unlike some of his team mates.

Should have stayed at Chelsea.
