Just waiting for the next news article that might contain the word Brexit, then twist that article to tell us all the country is collapsing, we are at the cliff edge, that nobody in Europe like us anymore and so on.

Do you want the good news or the bad news? Brexit will mean fewer EU citizens. That is already happening.
An estimated 220,000 citizens from other EU countries immigrated to the UK in the year to September 2017, and about 130,000 emigrated abroad. So EU ‘net migration’ was around 90,000—the lowest level recorded since 2012.
Hurray I hear some of the regular baiters on here shouting. But wait... Brexit will not have any effect on non EU immigration.
Estimated non-EU net migration, meanwhile, is 205,000 a year—the highest level recorded since 2011. It has been almost consistently higher than EU migration for decades.
The majority of citizens from other EU countries say they come with a definite job lined up—the latest figures show this proportion to be 47%, which is high by historical standards. Others usually come looking for work, to study or to join family members in the UK.
EU immigrants are more likely to come to the UK with a definite job now than was the case a year ago, and they’re less likely to come looking for work.
That contrasts with non-EU immigrants, who mainly say they come to study.

An extra 90,000 is never welcome,no matter where they are from, with the added pressure on the NHS,housing,transport etc.,if no effort is made towards relief.Why do you think so many people want numbers reduced?

'Because they have have private healthcare and a private income and therefor don't need a properly staffed NHS or working age taxpayers to pay their pensions or benefits' would be the sensible answer

Where did I say all? The numbers were shown to be fewer not all.
I watched Hospital on BBC2 the other night. The ENT consultant is leaving to go to America to join his wife (he's British)
Nottingham hospital trust requires 4 ENT consultants for their area, and there will only be one left when he goes in May. That is 3 vacancies needed for one area.
There was an announcement at the end when the credits were rolling to say a new recruit is in the pipeline and will be starting in September, but that is still only 50% of the requirement needed. People wonder why there are waiting lists.

The population of this country must have increased by about 4-5 million over the last 15 years and our governments both Tory and Labour didn't plan ahead for it.

Same reason they'd care if LGBT flag was burned for example - it could be classed as a hate crime.

We need younger people to come and work here to keep up the contributions in taxes and NI.
As for housing, family splits and high rents are far more to blame than immigrants. I knew of two separate people who had two three bedroomed houses to themselves.
There is a large plot of land near me which has been sold for development with planning permission. That was over a year ago, and nothing has been done to it. The price of land is rising all the time, so it is an investment to sit on plots of land, without actually doing anything.
The EU is a political organisation - it's hardly a hate crime to burn it's flag. It would be no different to burning a poster with the Tory party logo on it. An LGBT flag would be an entirely different matter and rightly so. The police would be rather pathetic to get involved with someone burning an EU flag.
