it would certainly breach FFP...that doesn't stop Wolves from doing it though as, has been proven before, FFP is utterly meaningless if you get promoted
FFP is about losses though, and it's now 39m over 3 seasons, is it not? Therefore if they go through with this then they'll make a loss this year...But sell him for the same next year and they're scot free?

No it wouldn't. FFP rules have been relaxed this season. Clubs can have up to £39m FFP losses over three years (which in reality is likely to equate to about £60m of accounting losses) and still remain within the FFP limits.

Transfermkt have him down as mainly being a central midfielder last season which considering the fee for a bit part player who played a grand total of 725 minutes seems even more ludicrous. Especially when you consider who you could sign for that sort of money.

Not surprising he has the same agent as Bebe did when he signed for Man Utd.

Insane. Good player in Portugese top flight. No idea where this fits in to FFP. Don't think much of the Wolves squad currently. Manager with no English experience, and a chairman throwing money about. Can see it ending in disaster currently. Weather this guy can do it having lumps kicked out of him on a freezing night in Rotherham is another matter.
Wolves played at Rotherham on the Saturday before last . It was WARM.

Apart from anything else, who actually decided these freezing nights in grotty northern towns like Stoke and Rotherham were the barometer of a good player? Perhaps we shouldn't sign MESSI if he was ever offered to us, just in case he couldn't cope with the rigours of Barnsley away.
