Rosenior seems to have spent more of his career playing left back than right. He played there a lot for Fulham from what I can remember as well.

.

Not according to him when he was on the radio and saying he started as a right winger at Bristol and gradually moved back and occasionally played at left back when needed at Hull. I think that he considers himself a right sided player who can, if needed play on the left.

Absolutely right.

Mr Rosenior can play practicallly anywhere and do a decent job, we are lucky to have him, vital in a 25 man squad, we could do with a couple more like him.

I wouldnt disagree about his versatility and use to us but I would sooner that we signed specialist players in a particular position and relied on just LR for the versatility not sign more of that type player

Which we are trying to do and my point stands Rosenoir isnt that bad for a worst case scenerio.

Rather seems like Albion have given up on it though, unless Ingolstadt soften their stance, and accept the bid that is on the table.

Got to be room for negotiation, even if it is just a transfer fee bonus if we stay up?

I was surprised that we wanted to sign a player the same age as Poco and Bong! I expected a player about the age of Wittek who has signed for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Bundesliga II.

Quite some time wasted on two players. Hopefully others were being contacted at the same time and we're not starting from scratch

Clearly this is Albion telling Ingostadt that we're not budging. The fact that the player wants to move means we don't need to do anything really. We can explore other players, and other positions, and eventually they will come back and deal.

[bad google translation of article published on Friday but i think we get the gist]
"the Schanzers continue to refrain from the demanded release sum of four million euros. Brighton & Hove Albion is not ready to transfer more than the € 2.5 million already offered, and it looks as if Markus Suttner will also play for the Ingolstädter next season."

The Argus yesterday said this on the full back hunt in an article about Rob Hunt. Ha.
"Albion remain keen to sign 30-year-old Austrian international left-back Markus Suttner from FC Ingolstadt, the German club they went to for first summer signing Pascal Gross.
They also still want to seal a loan deal for versatile young Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, who can play at right-back or in the middle."

And Ingolstadt aren't budging either.
