But....immigrants should be made to uphold the laws surely? Your frustration with our failure to make some of them do so is understandable, and I agree with you. But why should immigration be such a black and white issue? I see plenty (on here) wanting to kill it but I don't actually see evidence of the opposite - a majority of Brits wanting it to be unrestricted: 'please pitch your tent on the villiage geen and crack on with mutilating your ladies'. Not even Corbyn has come out with such guff.. Who the actual **** advocates that?
There again, we have been unable to do anything about non-EU immigration now, even when we have full powers over it, so I guess I agree with you - this contry is being run by total fekkin eejits who can't manage immigration, the laws or anything. May should resign now, the hopeless twerp.

The facts are these.
The majority of Nursing staff we employ are invited from, mainly, The Philipines, the West Indies and some African countries...particularly Nigeria and Ghana. These recruits are well trained and qualified to work in the UK.
Medics are often of Indian, Pakistani or Central Africa. Their training is closely aligned to the UK so they are brilliant additions to our staff. These days we also have a lot of Doctors and Nurses from the EU. Again their training is excellent and some, especially Portuguese, are far better trained than our own Nurses in terms of extended roles.
Contrast these highly trained and invited individuals with the boatfuls of impoverished, illiterate desperate individuals who arrive in the back of a lorry or in a dinghy from Libya. If anyone thinks that those hundreds of thousands of, mainly young, men pouring in to the EU rom the war zones or disastrous economic basket case countries. Those guys are NOT coming to save the NHS. On the contrary they are a burden on it as they are often ill or iin such a bad state of mental health that they are a drain on our resource.
This rubbish about the NHS relying on illegal immigrants to survive is so risible it barely merits any response.
If that ludicrous example is the answer to "how do we benefit from mass illegal third world immigration" then, seriously guys...yours so wrong it's laughable.

This country in Northern Europe, previously homogenous, excellently run, calm with a very low crime rate and a fantastic welfare state has descended into chaos.
The incidence of rape, previously very low is now the highest in the west. Anti semitism and street violence...never a problem before, has become a daily event.
Drugs. Through the roof.
Firearm use. On the rise..no go areas rife.
What on earth has happened in the last 10 years? Mass Muslim migration from the third world is what.

Your reply is fine up to a point. But NOBODY said the NHS relies on illegal immigrants. The bogeyman for this thread is Muslims (stabbing on a bus in Germany etc etc). The NHS is full of them. There is no need to be a broflake.

I have looked it up, though, as I posted earlier on this thread I travel there for business fairly regularly. Sweden is safe, welcoming and a lot better run than many other Western European countries. It's expensive but a nice trade off is that in the centre of Stockholm homeless people don't freeze to death because there really aren't any.
