This is Parrish playing the cheap sentiment card with the support, as he did with the dancing cock Pardew. A return of yet another 'prodigal son', which similarly will end in tears. It's unlucky that both De Boer and Freedman will be in their employ come next May.

Strange choice and completely out the blue but hey ho, Parish must get on well with him, Knows how to pick a player too.

Freedman is already using his inside knowledge of fantastic Scottish football, to sign the brilliant winger Oliver Burke for £15m. If Zaha can stay on his feet on the opposite wing, that as good as guarantees CPFC top 8 or 9. Exciting times indeed up at Norwood.

A bit surprised that they are able to beat the likes of PSG and Bayern to his signature.

I know its lets all take the piss out of Palace, But more than a few people would have been happy with that signing.

and at the same time it seems always be unhappy with ours.

CP can spend their budget on just 2 or 3 players, as they already have a PL squad. Whilst in our first PL transfer window, we have to spread it over say 7 players. Tricky the first time around. Hull and Boro flopped in that department.

Some great comments from Palace defending the appointment at the time.

Sam Allardyce will be hired again for the second half of the season to save them at a cost of a further £3m, for another couple of months work.

Many a true word spoken in jest.

Drivel. With the squad that Palace currently have, simply staying in the division isn't good enough. Players like Zaha, Benteke, Cabaye etc. shouldn't be playing in a relegation threatened side. The fact that we were ever in the bottom three with the players at our disposal just shows what a terrible job Pardew was doing.

If De Boer gets the job, he will be expected to have us back in the comfort of midtable by the end of next season.

Forgive me, but did Hypia win 4 league titles in 6 years?

The shit form was down to Pardew. Soon after he left we started playing to our potential including beating Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

If he joins he could be a good fit with our exciting team . He will have world wide appeal and will give us a great chance of tapping into the Dutch market .
Nows the time to push on and I'm getting quite excited about him . The futures bright the futures orange .

Just from page 4, before FDB had even joined.
