Translates as:

Brighton - I hear JT is on a free, I will see how much money the prick wants a week.
JT Agent - £100k a week
Brighton - he can do one.

Negotiations over.

Good news .

I wouldn't pay £10K a week for Terry let alone £100K. Overrated hasbeen in my view.

Brighton pull out of negotiations for John Terry sue to his wage demands
He wants £100k per week.
Chelski were paying £50k + incentives last season.

Good.

For a start we'd have to remodel the Amex in order to fit his ego through the doors, and for a second I'd hope if we're going to spend anything like that money on wages for a player, it would surely be someone who could contribute a lot more than John Terry at this stage of his career.

Why the hell would the Chelsea captain have only been on £50k a week?

Struggling to believe we were ever in for him. More Premier League experience within the squad is definitely needed, but when you see what other options there maybe then... should definitely avoid players with toxic attitudes at all costs, especially with as squad that is as close knit as ours.

God, why can't the issue of John Terry go away
He's a circus waiting to happen, a fast track clown from clown college.
I cannot believe the club ever entertained the idea of him coming to the Amex, it's ludicrous.

Because they didn't expect him to play very often? And he didn't.
He's probably played more games for them than anyone else ever hasn't he? Or after many years of decent service, did they manage to get him onto a crap contract for his last year?

Presumably the council got involved.

They decided not to award a public holiday for his signing on day.

And for his club debut (obviously would have to be the Monday after he played on Saturday).

And not to mention his final game for the club.....
