For a different Indian experience I'd recommend the tasting dishes at Indian Summer instead.

Often goes under the radar but Hove Place is very good. Phil Bartley the chef is excellent with a very good reputation.

I'm not keen on all this "authentic" indian stuff. Much prefer the merged cultures of a good British Curry House.

i know its a chain but Hotel du Vin is usually excellent

Chiili Pickle and Indian summer also good if you want authentic indian

Seriously disappointed with the Coal Shed. In my view over priced (steak wasn't very good and was very expensive, after dinner chocs were charged at £1.50 for each chocolate!) and not that great.
