I'll be married to a French lady by August, so they are my back up team. Think this is a valid reason.

You're not still pissed about that hearse topic

England and Germany for the record!

Germany?!! What the duck?! How on EARTH can you cheer that lot on? I think supporting them and arson in a naval back passage are the only remaining capital offences left aren’t they?

This. And at the point England go out I will, as usual, lose complete interest in the tournament.

Is the RIGHT answer! Everyone who got the answer wrong, learn from this please. Nigeria, Australia, Germany...FFS!

Supporting for one match is ok but being French or English and supporting Barca and buying their replica kit is glory hunting plain and simple

If you go to old towns in the Languedoc area of France the street signs are also in Catalan as that part of France was part of Catalonia. Plenty of Barca shirts down there among the locals for pretty genuine reasons.

You’d be surprised, I think there are a lot particularly amongst the youth who are English but follow other national teams, mostly Brazil I think.

Have to say I don't know anyone young or old that supports a team other than England other than those that may support the team of their parents birth.
