See he came on from subs bench today for Sweden in a friendly game against Finland.
Is that his first national cap for his country?

It was a reserve/training game by all means. Played for 30 minutes but received great praise from a few pundits and the manager picked him out for praise after the game too and said he is in regular contact with Hughton about his progress

I don't know if it counts as an official cap, but yes, he hasn't played for the full national side previously.
