Some ridiculously high scores from some after a very poor game. Not that I'm not delighted with a win, I think City just brought us down to their (scrappy) level. Agree with Acker79.

Stockdale 8 Made some great saves, kicking a little bit off at times but you can at least see what he's trying to do.
Bruno 7.5 Poor start but grew as the game went on
Dunk 5 Not a good night. Some silly fouls and often caught the wrong side of his man
Uwe 6 Did OK.
Bong 6 Good going forward but still gets caught out of position too much
Kayal 6 worked hard despite being outnumbered in midfield
Stephens 5 His worst game for some time
Rosenior 6 Started well but faded badly
March 6 A couple of good moments including a mazy run in the second half but still lacking end product
Baldock 8 Ran and ran all night. Eventually got his goal but should have scored in the first half
Hemed 5 Generally ineffective, should have got the early header on target

Crofts 6.5 Good to see him back
Bobby 8 a left foot of pure quality
Calde 7 100% commitment, including a great full blooded tackle

Ref 1 Entirely fricking useless.

Points of note......
1) We won without playing that well.
2) We still created plenty of chances.
3) Some players clearly tired in the second half.
4) Bristol had a days rest more than us.
5)Two or three players had an off night but the strength of character in our squad saw us through.

Some posters on here seem to expect blindingly good performances game in game out. Some of the football seen this season has been the best for years. We are playing a high tempo game and no team on earth can keep that up for 90 minutes. Even last night, some of the passing and movement was really good. Yes we were sloppy in parts but look at the league table. It doesn't lie.
Twelve games in and no team has looked better than us yet. Yes there are some sterner tests to come but we should be worried by no-one. Team performance rating so far.....Nottm F ( h ) 7.5 Fulham ( a ) 8.0 Huddrsfld ( a ) 7.5 Blackburn ( h ) 7.0 Ipswich ( a ) 8.0 Hull ( h ) 8.5 Rotherham ( h ) 7.0 Wolves ( a ) 7.0 Bolton ( a ) 7.00 Cardiff ( h ) 9.0 Leeds ( a ) 6.5 Bristol C ( h ) 7.0.
Average rating so far....7.5.......Pretty good in my book.

Stockdale - 8 - Class. kept us in the game.
Bruno - 7 - Seen him play better, but decent none the less.
Uwe - 6 - He missed playing alongside Greer.
Dunk - 3 - Awful. A mistake a game that leads to a goal is a trend.
Bong - 6 - not bad, but not his best.
Rosenior - 6 - Looked like he was struggling. Playing through an injury?
Stephens - 6.5 - We lost the midfield battle, but thought he was decent.
Kayal - 6.5 - As above
March - 6.5 - Looked bright at times, but never got going.
Hemed - 6 - Got chances, but should of scored.
Baldock - 7 - Missed a sitter, but glad he got his goal. He runs a lot.

Crofts - 6.5 - Helped steady the midfield
Zamora - 10 - Well, 7.5. Done everything we needed him to.
Calderon - N/A

Stockdale 8 - Would have been a 9 without 3 or 4 awful GK's and the kick up field to no-one but BC's defender in the last 5.

Bruno - 7 MoTM after a fairly decent performance. A few errors and blatant dive in the first half.
Dunk - 3 Worst game I've seen him play.
Uwe - 4 Not much better than Dunk, VERY luck to get away with the penalty claim.
Bong - 5 Average but dispossessed too frequently.

March - 5 Average, didn't create too much.
Kayal - 6 First half very quiet, much livelier after the equalizer.
Stephens - 5 Can't remember him doing anything.
Rosenior - 5 As above.

Hemed - 5 Missed a good chance, quiet most of the time he was on.
Baldock - 6.5 Would have been higher, however he missed 2 clear chances.

Crofts - 7 Came on to do what Kayal and Stephens didn't.
Zamora - 10 Held the ball up nicely and scored a lovely goal in front of the NS.
Calderon - Not on long enough to rate but great tackle in front of the ES.

Rosenior 5
Kayal 7
Stephens 6

Hemed 5
Baldock 6

All subs were well made

Not the best level of team performance but enough good individual performances in the right areas for the opposition faced. It will need to step up if unbeaten run is to survive Reading and Wednesday away.

Struggling to score is going to hurt us.

You say that but I was genuinely surprised when looking at the table that only Birmingham and QPR have scored more than us and that is only by one goal.
If you mean Baldock and Hemed need to be chipping in a bit more regularly I'd agree.

One of the most entertaining games ever? Seriously? It wasn't even the most entertaining this month.

City were undoubtedly the best side we have seen at the Amex this season. Not sure it was the most entertaining game though.

Stockdale 8 - one distributional error but faultless otherwise
Bruno 8 - his great form continues.
Bong 6 -
Dunk 5
Hunemeier 4 - looked poor and particularly short!
Rosenior 8.5 - gets my MOM. Thought he was amazing.
Kayal 6 - looked absolutely spent. He really needs that week off.
Stephens 5- dead on his feet by the end. Might have to play in a center 3 on Sat as I think he will struggle otherwise
March 5. - one great run.
Baldock 7 - persevere. It'll happen for him soon
Hemed 5

Zamora 8
Hughton 8 - based on his substitutions as opposed to his initial set-up.

Tiredness creeping in to this team. Need some of the bench to be viable alternatives.

Surely Ince will start ahead of Crofts, I seriously hope so anyway.
Not for me. When struggling against Leeds and Bristol, Crofts came on and strengthened the midfield and we then got the winning goals. We missed him badly last season. I am a fan of Ince but Crofts is better.

Ince might as well go out on loan if Crofts gets the nod ahead of him.
Ince deserves the start he has been terrific in every game he has come on in.
And has far more to his game than Crofts.
