The gambling public and bookies make Palace massive favourites, more than 3x likely to win than us. With home advantage, their form, our form and their underlying £200m PL squad ... IMO they're spot on. Can Schelotto who had a stinker today, stop Zaha?

There's nothing with them, that has to be feared.
Yes they've started playing a tad better and have haha back.
But we have pace, together with a no fear attitude, we can get something up there.
Its going to be ultra tough, but not difficult.

Zaha rips fullbacks apart, such as Trent A-A of Liverpool, who a few days later had Sane in his pocket.

They have pace elsewhere too.

Plus home advantage.

We lack pace.

How do you see us getting a result?

Can't wait for this one, we are due a win at their dump

Read that too quickly. 'due a dump at their place' was what I thought I saw....

Because I believe we can.
It's better than some of the doom and gloom merchants on here.

Just realism. They've spent £200m on a squad that's underperformed, but has loads of dangers plus home advantage. We're newcomers with a shocking away record and coming into it from 1 point from 6 at home.

Doesn't mean we're doomed for relegation, but just acknowledging with neutrals that they should beat us.

I make those prices twice as likely, not three times?

Evens is 50% and 3/1 is 25%, with the draw 9/4 is 31%.

Have I got that wrong?

I agree.
We've played Manure twice, with a no fear attitude, we gave it a good go.
They'll be worried about us, and what we can do, given an opportunity to score.
I'm sure CH will have that well covered in the coming week.

A small part of me is quite pleased we'll have Stephens and Kayal in there. Fighters who will understand what it means to the club. Plus Knockaert will have a point to prove.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I simply compare; them winning against us winning scenarios.

They're odds on, giving say £9 winnings back on a £10 stake, whereas
We're 3/1 giving £30 winnings.

I very rarely bet, so I would be interested in your view of my take on it.

I refuse to even think about this game anymore until kick off. Could be a massive high or an even more massive low.

It’s a big game for sure. I’d take a draw right now but imagine a win, oh Lord.

They're very likely to win, so I refuse to allow that outcome to cause a massive low.

Better IMO to accept that now, then any result for is a nice bonus.

Losing to Palace is always a depressing experience and a blow to me
