Sussex waking up to 20cm of snow next Friday morning:

Along with a rapid thaw looking at the 0°C height in meters.
There might be 30 minutes sledging for those out of the door prompto at 6am. Better than nothing.

Looking at that bit disappointing . Ceryainly looks like some snow but wouldn't say that looks particularly memorable or outregous . In fact could argue you look at that and it's largely a fuss over nothing.
Still hoping and will enjoy the cold though

So still set for the coldest spell of winter, until Thursday. Chance of snow showers any day from Mon-Thurs. Then a system moves North possibly giving us some heavy snow at first but then turning to rain. So looks like we’ll miss the worst of it, unfortunately!

Beeb forecast I just saw spoke of a possible blizzard Thu / Fri - with the usual comments about how difficult it is to predict, etc, etc
